It doesn't actually Bailes :(

Here's how mine are as standard (300mm):

And the bigger 320mm discs and callipers available:

The callipers, quite a difference eh?

It's the 'swept area' that makes all the difference, that's why I want some.

Yeah, but they're £300 notes and need some attention, and new discs. Think they've all jumped on the band wagon with these, the lads on the Volvo forum were getting these for £120.00 last year

Is that the only set on ebay? There are other STs but I guess they're different. Any point in those Wilwoods or are they for the brain damaged?

What other cars do these go on?

Btw I'd go for ones in need of fettling, rather than anything that's been "refurbished" by some kid wearing an IQ reducer who's idea of "refurbish" just involves washing them in Jizer (thereby destroying the seals) and emptying a can of red caliper paint over them...

Good point! will watch for that.

Bugger I really want a set now, and of course it'll a waste of money replacing by warped discs when the money could go towards these........

Welly, if you can find me a reg number of a car with these calipers, discs and pads fitted as standard I might be able to get you a good price for recon calipers, new discs and decent pads.

PM a reg to me if you can get one, my supplier always needs a reg to get the correct parts.

One fears some negative comments and reference to a certain ill-fated exhaust upgrade are likely to be forthcoming.

Well I don't know, I thought perhaps the brakes in question might be something different. Face it, Fords and Volvos - not my specialist subject (nor ever likely to be :P )
