It doesn't sound like it :? Is your clutch hydraulic or cable?

I think its hydrolic as pedal drops down when changing round town. Theres no noise or prob changing gears its working as normal. Ive never noiced it. I didnt know if its a earth thing or engine mounts with it it speeding up as revs go up

Off the top of my head it could be:

Engine mounts
Failed release bearing
Failing hydraulics (or at least in need of new fluid)
New shoes
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

just an up date which isnt getting better. ive done the clutch fluid but now release barring is noisy but worst is i think something going bad in the gearbox as alsorts of noises arte now cominf from it. when i check it theres was hardly any oil in it. ive but a litre in but it noway filled up. im guess on one more bottle an if not better i think im looking for a gearbox off the site or somewhere.

any idea what one goes for one here or in general pls.

Hardly any oil in gearbox?

iwouid fill the gearbox with oil mate,
ihad a rattle on my citreon mainly from Tickover (standing) sounded like thrust bearing,
ive drained off the box and Refilled, its quiet now,

not saying filling the box will cure it but worth a try,
Main stealers for gear oil? whats wrong with places like wilkinsons or Motorfactors for what you pay for 1 litre of oil from stealers you can practicly fill the box for the same money sourced elsewhere
