Re: cruise control........
The cruise stalk plugs in like the radio stalk. As far as I know all COM2000 have a hole for the cruise control stalk. You may need PP2000 in order to enable it. Stalks seem cheap enough, so I'd plug one in and see what happens

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Re: cruise control........
You will need the stalk, but also check you have the clutch pedal switch and second brake pedal switch, (or at least the wiring for them). Early D9's need cruise enabling in the engine ecu, yours may do too, but it certainly needs to be 'on' in the BSI.
As Richard says, no harm trying to see if it will go.....
the above is true if it's a diesel, petrol ones need an actuator & controls to work the throttle.

COM2000-equipped D9s don't require any of the vacuum-powered actuators etc for cruise control - pretty certain mine is drive-by-wire.Doggy wrote:the above is true if it's a diesel, petrol ones need an actuator & controls to work the throttle.

Re: cruise control........
Depends on the engine. Older ones with the throttle cable physically attached to the throttle butterfly need the vacuum pump+actuator, but newer engines where the throttle cable just goes to the throttle pot (the butterfly being electronically controlled) do cruise through softwareDoggy wrote:petrol ones need an actuator & controls to work the throttle.
