this is what i was going to do to it

but i have since decided not to do any more to it as it will be now going back to standrd and i will be buying a modern dayly as my rheumatoid arthritis seems to be getting worse in the winter so i will be needing somthing with power steering and light controls

but on another note i have bought this

and hopefully by next show season it will look like this

like i said in lozz's thread i will make sure i pop on here a bit more often now and i'll keep this updated

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

love this car mate. i would DEFINATELY NOT paint it purple , keep it original not many of them left now.

if you paint it purple it will ruin it, cars like this are best kept original. 8)

What engine you going for?

1.8 Lynx engine?

wont be painting it purple because it is being sold very soon, and the estate will be taking over as my classic, and who knows i might end up with another 406 as a dayly.

sam im not decided on engine yet but it will be a big-ish spec wen im done

its a case of the older the better with Mercs.
the modern stuff is expensive to keep on the road,

only kept the 190e as for its value, once it gets over 25yr old it will be worth a fair amount,
at present there going for up to 6 grand or more,
not abad investment, 8)

I remember my uncle had the mk4 Escort 3 door Estate, similar to that but with the mk4 grille and it was black.
Looked like a small hearse to be fair :)
Fond memories though.
It's a format you don't see anymore is a 3 door estate, almost shooting-brake.
More likely to be an SUV these days.
