It's quite funny, my Mum's cat doesn't mind people wearing or removing their glasses (that's perfectly normal to him, he sleeps in my parent's bedroom and see them with and without their glasses every day).

...but if he sees someone he knows wearing a hat, he gets a bit upset (not angry, but wary and unhappy).

We're not quite sure if he thinks "Oh no, xxx is wearing a hat, does this mean they're going out and leaving me?" or if he thinks "Hang on a minute, that looks a bit like xxx, but there's something different about him/her". We've never had this behaviour from any of our other cats though.

We did have a cat who hated being laughed at. She got all indignant and huffy if you did, and she wouldn't talk to you for a while. "How dare you!"

Welly i actually cried with laughter watching that video, think i'll post that on my mams facebook.

Highlander, cats can be bastards picture this my mam has a small black cat think he's about 6 years old now he used to get the parrots feathers ruffled as it was then nearly two years back my brother brought home a tiny black miniture jack russell that spends his life in the same room as the cat and parrot and and the cat and dog really do fight like cat and dog.

So you got them two at 100mph fighting like noones buisness and the parrot shouting STOPIT STOPIT STOPIT.... It's bedlam down there they run my parents ragged... oh and the cat also goes for my mam i'm sure it's a glasses issue.

Yup :) Vindictive ones, too

Comical moment. Our previous cat was sitting in the middle of the hall floor, legs spread and washing his arse. The dog comes trundling over and sniffs the cats arse (as dogs do). The cat lets off a tremendous fart and the dog goes BALLISTIC. He jumps on the cat, jumps off the cat, and starts running around the kitchen table, over and over, growling and barking.

Meantime, I'm on the floor just about pissing myself. God I wish I was videotaping that!

One of my bro's roommates in college had a cat called called "NB". Apparently, everytime a stranger went to stroke the cat, he lashed out, earning him the name Nasty Bastard   . I chose not to test this out!

Mum's current cat (Marco) has a certain proclivity for taking revenge.

If he gets scolded (or sprayed with a water-mist thing for watering the plants) for doing something he's not meant to (scratching the furniture, jumping on to the table, playing with expensive/delicate ornaments) then he will wait til Mum's not looking, then run towards her, jump with all four sets of claws deployed, and land on her arse. When she yelps, he buggers off and hides.

He doesn't do it so much nowadays though - he's not even 2 years old yet, so we put it down to "teenage" adolescence. She still clips his claws a bit (he's an indoor cat so you have to do that every so often) - just in case.

Dont have a cat myself the wife is alergic to the long haired ones so never had one, plus we go away a lot but i think i've addopted one the little f*cker sneaks in my shed and pisses on my tools... the bag my drill is in smells aweful... i think it's my mates cat i'll catch him one day... my fault really though i left my caravan door open one day and if i didn't check in there before we went away he would have come to Devon with us.

Also left the boot of my old car open for a few minutes one day so he decided my parcel shelf was a comfy place to sleep.
