PP2000?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Sam, that's the right kit, but I don't know if your Siemens ecu will support it.

Even if it does, you need to check you have at least the wiring for the clutch & brake switches
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Just bought it :)

307 with Siemens ECU don't have any issues.
The cruise control stalk is less than £15 straight from the dealers so going to order one tommorow.

Then hope for the best

Also apprently with Com2000 you dont need to add extra pedal switches either :)

If they were fitted, you could be in luck.
It will need enabling in the BSI, possibly engine ecu too.

Good luck.

There is switched on both pedals. Ones red and ones blue IIRC.

I'l give it ago and see what happens :cheesy:

Wanted PP anyway, so worse case scenario I have to sell the Cruise control stalk which go for £50+ on ebay

Could well be OK - if it doesn't work straight away, it's still worth persevering with, IMO. I'd hate to be without it.

In 406 semi mux, i have 2 switchs on break pedal and 1 switch on clutch pedal. An needed to activate function on ecu.(Needed to replace ecu since my original one didn't had any extra features on it)

Let me know how you get on with it as i'm toying with the idea of buying one but am a bit weary of plugging in anything to the car :?

I always cruise at 65 as I find thats a nice speed that you can quickly overtake the lorries and get back in the inside lane.
Cruise control would make motorway driving 10x nicer!

Where exactley do I need to activate everything?

If it is COM2000 stalk, then you need activation on BSI and ECU. But if i were you i would check if you have the sensors on brake and clutch pedal before you fancy with playing with PP2000, because you will end up buying something that it will not help you on what you want to do.

From what I read, Com2000 cars don't need any extra sensors. Just the stalk and activate.

Then go for it, just hope that you have the remote programming feature on your ecu, or you will end up needing a new ecu like i did :D

Probably easiest to wait until you've got PP2000 up & running as it'll make much more sense then.

Happy to talk you through it, if you want.

I'l get everything and have a play. If I can't get it working I'l prob get hold of you :)

Am I right in thinking there is no light on the dash to tell you when cruise control is on?
