well the white one sold a day or 2 ago and ive bought

n reg d turbo 5door, got this for under 400 quid and the plan it to run it on veg oil once ive changed the pump to a bosch one, i really did want a 406 d turbo but the insurence would have killed me so this will have to do.

would have been nice but i would have turned it down for 2 reasons
1)i plan on running this on veg once the pump is changed
2)couldnt aford the insurence on a xsara 1.9 td as its £100 more than im paying on this pug

Insurance would have been more than that it was a 2.0 remapped 110 bhp hdi.

one of the reasons why ibought one,
the remap only cost me an extra 20quid on my insurance,
iguess it all depends who your insured with tho as towards what they charge for such mods.
i tried all the cars ive owned in the past as i have a good memory for reg plates, the 406 hdi 90 i had last year was £198 more to insure this year everywhere i went, the xsara was 100 more than the pug and a ph1 406 dturbo was £700
silly money, the insurence for the 306 is 378 and i only paid 350 for it how can they justifiy me paying more than i paid for the car.
doesnt help that im unable to work full time and them twats in no.10 keep lining their pockets.

anyway i gave a quick machine polish today and came up quite well, i think the paint on the roof is shot though
