406 Hdi 90 For Sale

Post by JIMBOB326 »

Only just bought an X reg 406 Hdi, 136000 miles with no service history. Drives fine except a slight knocking noise when wheel is turned, on looking underneath i can see that a rubber gaiter on the drive shaft is loose so maybe thats the fault. There was a fault with getting it into gear but since ive managed to pull my sticking clutch pedal up with my feet this has stopped. Just been for a spin in it and i really cant see any other problems with it. Tax has expired end of last month but it has an MOT till end of October this year. I will accept a sensible offer for it(No less than £650 - that covers what i paid for it and the fuel ive put in her). Tinted windows at the rear, all electrics/heating work, a bargain for someone im sure. 8)

Hi there and happy easter to you. Im in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire(off Jct 9 M5). I think its a knocking noise but its only when i put the wheels on full lock that you feel it. Like i say, there is no service history but ive had a look at the oil and coolant and dont see any obvious contamination there. Im not desperate to sell it but i dont really have any funds to get it serviced etc at the moment so weve decided were gonna go round in the wifes car at the moment.
