Sill rubbers - are interchangeable between the D8 and D9, and are the same for saloons and estates.
I took a couple off a D8 saloon and fitted them to my D9 estate, and the D8 ones appear to be better quality as well

As far as I know they should be. Can't see there being any differences. I've got a set of the front ones in the shed from a D9. If there's a certain part of the belts that you're unsure of let me know & I'll see what these ones are like.norrie499 wrote:Are the front seat belts interchangeable

The part numbers are different, although the pretensioners are the same (I would have expected it to be the other way around). The D9 belts mention side airbags so perhaps that's the difference and the brackets angle them in different directions The fixing screws are different threads too. As with Mr. Waue I can't see why they'd not fit but but, without my cristal ball, I can't say they will for definite.

Best way to be sure then is to get them from the same year as your car. The ones I have in the shed matched the ones that were in the car, but they came from a W plate & my car was an X (both with side airbags).steve_earwig wrote:The part numbers are different, although the pretensioners are the same (I would have expected it to be the other way around). Re: Parts interchangeable between D8/D9
Besides the great D8/D9 devide, the only differences appear to be the colours.

Re: Parts interchangeable between D8/D9
I seem to recall there's a slight difference in shape between a D8 saloon boot and a D9. But I could be wrong. I know the rear lights are different.

Re: Parts interchangeable between D8/D9
Indeed, they're different shapes. The D9 one is tapered whereas the D8 is 'square'.
