Sun at last, (but will it last)?

Post by Doggy »

Image & 24°in sunny Cambridgeshire today.

Seems a real shock to the system after so much rain, but I think it may have peaked a tad to early for your's truly, who's off to walk the doggies in Scotland next week. We shall see, but at least it looks hopeful for now.

Yes, even my Climate Control has woken up with blasts of air when I jump in.

The parcel delivery operative yesterday said it's going to be a long hot summer so it must be true

Actually the internet said it is likely to be warmer than average with less rainfall than usual during June, July and Aug so who knows?

Hope you have a nice Holiday

No.

It was sunny yesterday. Too hot in the office.

Today it is overcast and a bit chillier.

20 today the sun has been out all day and not a cloud in sight, spraying the apples in a tractor with no ventilation isn't nice though.

Car said 32 degrees at 2pm.

Then I got summoned into London to rescue the salesman in his SLK that had another flat tyre. This is the second time; the bloody thing isn't a month old yet. £200 each  It really is a hateful piece of shite, and can't even get 30mpg out of it.

Diabolical traffic, of course. And no air conditioning
Need this sorted immediately.

And, in seven years of ownership, I have never seen the temperature above 90 until today:

90over90 sounds like a medical campaign.

Did it kick in the fan?

Got a bit sunnier for the drive home, air con on.

5 PM - left the front door of the office. Opened the car door and tried to get in. Died.

SO HOT in there; the seats were roasting to the touch. Took off me coat and put the key in the ignition - MFD lights up and tells me it's 30C outside - I don't believe it, as the sensor has been in direct sunlight all day. But it has been really warm here. Bright, sunny, no clouds in the sky. And I could feel the heat off the sun this morning at 7:45 when I was on my way from the car up to the office door.

Sunglasses on while driving to and from work - bonus 8)

Feel for you there, mine was indicating 24/25°on my way home around 6:30, but blissfully cool inside. 8)

If fact a bit too cool, had to turn the set temp up to 25° to stop it freezing my nuts off - I can see I'm gonna have to find a straw for the annual climate control overhaul.
