Ah yes they are called silos, our silo is just a big shed though, its not such a bad place to keep a bike.
I tried the waxoyl using the guns a neighbour gave me, its a messy dirty ould shite job to do, i only got the passenger side wing done, the other side ill do with an aerosol can, then take the car to a place in armagh that waxoyls cars. The stuff also stinks, even with all the windows up inside the car smells of creosote.

i have no idea of the exact age but the wheels are marked as 27 and 1/4 inches and the peugeot name is wrote in the same font of the 04 cars which means its probably from the 70s. Which sounds about right because my grampa bought it and its been used at some point by my dad and 5 uncles, a break in the silo is what it has needed.

irember then racing bikes being new ish in the middle 80s, iwouidnt say theres 70s mate
we used them as kids for crossing rivers, throw bike in then use it as a bridge then pull it out at the other side,

i dont know if its a pure racing bike it might just be an ordinary skinny tyres bike it has got a steel frame

I got a new pump and t junction thanks to ade on the coupe club, and at a good price. About 30mins trying to remove them not quite proper jubilee clips and all was swapped over, gave it a go and after a few rubbish squirts the headlight washers popped up and gave a good spray. Now all the wheel arch liners are back on to let the waxoyl dry under them.

Ade also sent me a gearknob and chrome reverse lifter from a hdi coupe:

While putting the wheel arches back in place (the waxoyl got a good chance to dry) but i also cleaned the brake pads to stop the squealing noise they made, there was a right bit of dust and after cleaning them and using some copper grease there is no more noise. I made another video:

Thats the tripod, only a cheap one off ebay, a bit fiddly to adjust but the end results is two free hands to work on the car It was used in the servicing video aswell.
One mistake i did make is to break the wires going to the pads, but they only turn on the dash light in the rain.

idont think them wires are important,
ive seen afew with them cut, and the low pad warning hasnt been lit,
on the old v reg ihad the light came on with the wires chopped so ijust made a loop for each side,

There is no need for wear indicators, the light was coming on in the wet but them pads still have plenty of material left on them, very little material seems to have been used.
Having said that, you know them two wires that are clipped into place beside the strut, one of them is cut, what are they for?
