Sneaky cops

Post by scotty73 »

And one Welsh bastard looking at points for the first time in 19 years.

Trip home from Tenby Sunday just about to aproach the glyn neath bank (bugger of a hill so need to pick up some speed) my car is doing well up it but had to over take a van so pushed up to over 75mph maybe 80 and in the laybye was a speed cop in a volvo... reversed nicely back into the trees so you dont see him til it's to late.

Fuka, well as i was overtaking i wondered why the van seemed to slow suddenly so i eased off i may have been only doing 65mph when i passed him but who knows.

Never had any run in with the law in my life but eh ho we'll see hey.

But it's all done in the name of safety, nothing to do with revenue! yeh rite!,i live in a village on the main road which is 30 mph and i have to take my life in my hands crossing the road some mornings and the other week a car lost control mounted the pavement and demolished a wall and post box,it's the same pavement the primary school kids walk to the village school on.The old bill had a temp speed camera set up a couple of years back for 10 mins and that was that.

Theres been 3 kids and 1 adult killed outside my house this year,
people hit 50-60mph coming down the busy road and slam on for the lights too late they carnt stop kiddie goes over car bonnet,

theyve only put a sighn up which lights up Slow down, no cameras,
they shouid put speed cameras up where needed or even plonk these cops where the black spots are .

ive no sympathy for anyone caught /fined speeding in built up areas,

I know that mate, villages should be policed more maybe i noticed on the way from Tenby on Sunday coming through a few villages there was no speed indicator sign until your leaving the village wtf is that about? ok we all know to slow down but the only signs on a few villages were ones to tell you to speed back up.
