Re: Temp gauge dropping?
Perhaps an airlock in the cooling system?

Re: Temp gauge dropping?
:airlock or faulty temp sensor is my guess,
Re: Temp gauge dropping?
Has it ever been stuck at one position even after you turn off ignition key?
Is it only temp gauge being weird or other gauges too acts like this seldom ?
There's a remote possibility of its being the BSI and / or connectors on the drivers side close to accelerator.

dont know if link works but if you copy and paste it into your browser it shouid do,
does your Temp drop going down hill?
if so id get anew thermostat, iwouidnt go anywhere near the bsi looking for the fault, its a bit of a wasp hive
if the top link dont work try this one http://psa-peugeot.info/206/muxexplained.html

Re: Temp gauge dropping?
First and foremost try to bleed the system and check the thermo before going to BSI. That's why I said it's a remote possibility and if other gauges too are acting wired.paulm wrote:Everything else seems to be ok,whats BSI stand for? and Harshan where are theses cables i need to look at on the drivers side?

BSI stands for built in systems interface, kind of unit which controls quite a lot of functions including gauges.
