hehe the Xantia drove like a boat with the fluid suspension, used to give people seasickness :)

It was a saturday and the car parks were empty, I just hoofed it in to get a look at the QE2, took the dog for a walk as an excuse to get out.

So, like, you work opposite the port?
Yep in the science park which is in the part of Belfast now known as the Titanic Quarter (to bring in the tourists).
Basically the old shipyard.

I mind a couple of year ago QE2 was in town

Isn't the QE2 just sooo much more beautiful? Looks like a proper ship, not an office block.

QE2 was nice, though I thought it would've been bigger.

Titanic Quarter, the black spec in front of the cruise ship is a reconstruction of the hull of the Titanic that some channel4 programme made, for scale

At the time I was replacing the ZX, and had had hydropneumatic Citroens years ago in the family - my dad had BXs and an early Xantia.

D9s were out of my reach, and I wanted a Xantia.

I did end up with a 406 eventually (hence me lurking on the board here).

You need to work on your photography skills mate  , I'm assuming that's the same Grand Class ship as last time (Carribean Princess I reckon), but can't see enough of the other ship to recognise it...

Hehe I'm tempted, the Honda is starting to creak over those wee bumpy roads.

Yea need a proper DSLR for picturing the cruise liners instead of an old mobile.

The other ship was called Marina - http://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships/marina.aspx , http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shipde ... =538003668

It has a netted area on top.

Either a tennis / badminton area, a driving range, a seagull proof pool, or a quarantine area  ?
