2 cars. 2 tickets at 11:58 and 2 more tickets at 12:07.

Parked in this place hundreds of times, it's a side street off a side street, don't even know why there's double yellows. If I parked there 120 times then it's cost me £1 a time

Thats not in the spirit of the law, but it is probably legal. And, as you say, if you work it as an average, it feels better. I had this at an old house. Got done there twice in 8 years. And i broke the parking regs most days, so I recon it's not a bad average. Something like £60 over 8ish years is cheaper than the car parks would have been.
What can you do though? Pay the fine and move on with your life. :frown:

They're always out at St Andrews, Birmingham FC, on match days. Never before kick off and always gone by full time, the only way you can tell is by all the yellow envelopes, usually on away fans cars.

Round my way, they only ticketing people in the high street and around the shops. But the estate on the outskirts where I live is full of dodgy parking. Halfway across pavements, on pavements, up kerbs, on verges, across entrances. You'd think with the money the local council would generate from ticketing them they would get the traffic wardens sent to other places but no, just where the shops are. In Gloucester they've got cameras all over just in case they miss it.

Didn't Aberystwyth not have any wardens for a while? And the anarchy was so bad that they begged them to come back? Roads blocked etc?
