Makes me chuckle looking at old engine bays - there's soooo much room in there and that one is a 'big' engine for its time.

Tried in vain to find a pic of a mk4 zephyr engine bay, which despite having the spare wheel in there, is still mostly full of emptiness......

Anyone admit to having one?

We had a 1300 Mk1 Capri, could've carried a large suitcase either side of the engine

Must be wrong
Just looked on Wiki and it was a Zodiac mkIII but they came with a straight 6 not V6 which was mkIV, if it can be believed

I remember bailing hay when i was about 15 there was a Zephyr on the farm covered in chicken sh*t, they were living in it

The later ones look like elongated Cortinas, which Granadas were too I suppose.

i remember my dads jet black x reg, sunroof the full box of tricks. I always dreamed of doing it up when i reached 17 but he scrapped it when i was 15. Sad times but i did get to drive it one night when he was pissed and fancied a chinese... And have sex in it... With a female.
