It is massively more likely that the problem is internal to the screen itself (to do with the bits that conduct the electric into the liquid crystal layer) than the connector. Chances of finding a controller-less LCD with the same pin-out and dimensions are not high I'm afraid

well after a lot of looking and soldering using hairdryers, pencil erasers, paint brushes, and tape its still malfunctioning.
I guess constantly monitoring ebay is the solution.

Looks to me like the screen is actually cracked. No way to repair that, I am afraid
