You won't get my Mrs anywhere near a tent mate, nor a caravan for that matter. I've tried to persuade her to do static van weekends but even that's a no-no due to some shitty childhood caravan experience. 'Tis a shame cos I had some brilliant caravan holidays as a kid, get a bit nostalgic for it sometimes... :oops:

It is indeed a shame, maybe we should be sneaky and organise a 406oc camping weekend meet kinda thing? :P

My mrs neither

Some experience as a child of a rat in the tent :shock:

Plus she insists that she has to wash her hair properly EVERY morning, and she "reckons" she can't do that without her mod cons :roll:

I'm not sure what's worse;

A Rat in the tent, or, sharing a tent with Scotty after 10 cans of Boddies :|

Scotty just nods off in his camping chair and gives himself a stiffy... neck that is... It's all the same anyway if theres not a 4 legged rat in the tent theres still a rat there... ME!! :lol: :lol:

Plod: mod cons? this weekend we had electric in the tent so we had a 22 inch tv hooked up to my media player that was hooked to my 500gig hard drive, we had a heater, wifi on the laptop and also wifi in the clubhouse on the tablet... boiling hot showers with points in for the girls to dry/straighten their hair... You take your mod cons with you.

Without electric i find myself constantly cooking on the bbq out of boredom and falling asleep way to early it's not so much fun.... I recon i'd think twice if i saw another rat in the tent mind. :lol:
