Well done Sir 8)
Ta, 'cept I'm now having second thoughts - the dogmobile's just too good to bin and the list of snags with the new one just seems to grow..........

One tyre just legal, (on the wear bars), the one 'new' one's H-rated, therefore useless
Driver's heated seat switch jammed, (melted)?
One of the seat height adjustment motors turns, but does nothing
Satnav CD won't read
Every time I walk past it, I find another dent
Finally had a spin in it yesterday evening and the COM2000's definitely knackered, but it is tight and rattle free and has obviously done much less work than the dogmobile. Very smooth, quiet and utterly gutless, (but I've got an app for that).

Latest challenge: my laptop's just died.

Need to find another means of installing some motivational software by Saturday........

BTW it's Mrs Doggy's birthday today, 'so what did you get ME'? she asked. 'A lovely new heated leather armchair', I said.

Feels like there could be something wrong with the central heating now, too.

Shirley you can make one good'un out of the two? just swap the seat 'guts' from your known good one and have the 'newer' leather finish? when you sell dogmobile they won't really complain that one of the seat motor's isn't perfect :supafrisk:

Smart dent removal will tidy the bodywork up if it bothers you.

Swap the wheels around for your old ones with good tyres? treat them to a refurb too?

In an unprecedented forum development, Doggy drags a thread back on track.

Back to selling the dogmobile.

I've decided to change the front pads and MOT it on Monday, with a view to putting it on eBay, probably on Sunday.

Unless, that is somebody decides to grab a bargain beforehand.......

I'd much rather it went to someone who would appreciate it for the thoroughbred it is, rather than a cheap, tatty old workhorse. So if anyone want to cross my palm with £750, it's yours.

....did I mention the towbar and twin electrics on this fine example of tow car of the year 2002?
