Sounds like a good idea for me too but just like Lozz my aircon don't make a twitch it's time to get it sorted.

The bomb should still clean it through 'cos nothing special happens inside the heater, as far as I can make out the air is always going through the matrix & evaporator when it's set to hot.

Both systems are probably empty, time for a regass with some of that die stuff to check for leaks...

Plastic drop links  Sellers on ebay are selling metal ones that seem to cover 306s, partner/Berlino and Kzara, so maybe you could take your links along to a factor's and do some comparing...

One option is to make the ball joints stronger. I guess another option is to make the rod weaker

Wasn't there a 306 club that had made some drop links with rose joints?

Thanks for the replys:

@ steve, ive still got some Xara drop links, that ibought for the old one ihad, iwill see if they fit,

With the Rose joints/adjustable ones, ilooked into that, months ago but gave up on the idea,
so it seems -the idea of them is for track day use, and for those that are lowering a car,

Dammit  How much longer? Maybe if it's only a few cm it won't make much difference :?

Interior is worth £100!
Wheels are probably worth another £100!
How much camber is on the rear wheels? You have a GTi-6 rear beam that in good condition is probably worth another few hundred.

Be worth breaking it I think!
