But in the name of research, I did eat a Tesco burger, an Iceland burger and a Farm Foods burger to find out which had the best taste. The Tesco one won by a nose.

First it was horsemeat in the burgers. Now they've found traces of zebra in Tesco's barcodes.

I'm glad you said that as I totally agree, Horses are twats. They stink, they are stupidly expensive to keep and then as soon as they hurt a leg they're written off wtf?
Not true, they can be quite cheap to keep and they can recover from broken legs. It is more the attitude of owners that is the problem. Good horses are killed because the owner is not prepared to nurse the horse back to health. Luckier horses live long lives with caring keepers.
Welly wrote:I keep well away from Horses, they are not to be trusted.
Never had a problem trusting a horse. If you understand them, they are very trustworthy.
Welly wrote:As said, they are not eaten in the UK because we go all doe-eyed over them for some reason. The Italians and French eat Horse, it is quite expensive and regarded as a luxury I believe?
In pagan times early Brits feasted on horse. Early Christianity in Britain, in a bid for control, forbade eating horse. It has become a cultural norm. Different habits of not using horse as a festive/ritual animal on the continent did not give them the same ultimate protection.
Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.

Idont think theres anything wrong with horses tbh,
they are a gentle creature that finds it hard to trust humans, they are clever,

They shouid be banned from going on roads ithink, and kept on the feilds, not the horses fault mind,

iseen a young girl get thrown off one because of some daft twat in a subaru
no consideration for the horse or the rider,

Not expensive to keep? through the winter they are,

I grew up next to a couple of fields full of horses, they were brainless and unpredictable. We used to help feed them and keep their water troughs filled up. I soon learned to keep my distance and never go anywhere near their legs and rear ends. I never wanted to ride one.

I reckon the horses used by the police and those soldiers with the furry hats are probably more intelligent than average, well trained too, I just wonder what happens to all the rejects.

When I was 8 years old, holidaying in southern Ireland we took a 'Horsey ride' (think: trail of Horses crawling along) my f*cker went apeshit when a Bird flew out of a bush just in front of its face  I ended up dangling from one foot which'd gotten tangled up in the foot-holder-thing.

I never did like them after that, big heavy twitchy fuckers they are.

There you see Welly, you've only got yourself to blame

I only got nervous after I'd been bitten, kicked and had my foot stood on a few times.

Alot of horses bite or nip,
they see it as playing, horses bite /nip each other so its part of there behaviour, they see it as playing perhaps,
if they meant it theyd take your full finger off or hand,
