:? The whole reg transfer buisness seems overly complicated.
Would you not prefer a plate that actually said "Lozz" Instead of LLZ?

Carnt get them mate

even if so there around 8k :(

plenty floating around but. id prefare a dateless plate, theres no restrictions of what car it goes on then,
eg if you had one thats got 03 you carnt put it on a 2001 reg car, so you have to sell it on, or stick it on retention, (pretty pointless ithink)

ithink thats why Ni plates are going up in value,

For sure our plates hide the age, but then the system here just seems to be a disorganised mess, you cant tell the year of the car, and everyone gets obsessed with plates that have the word BIG in them.

What does Lozz mean, is it your name, or a nickname? Sorry ive always been curious

Ill still ring the DVLNI tommorow to see whats the craic with swapping plates over, i think this box of scrap metal will just go to the scrapyard, there isnt much point in keeping it, but if its getting scrapped wont that mean the plates will end up back on the market?

I put the car up on gumtree at £300, some one sent me a text within 10 mins offering £100, i told him the scrap value of the car is double that and i live less than a mile from the scrapyard.
Then someone else rang, asked a few questions about the car, sounded happy enough, offered me £250 i met in the middle at £275. Not a bad profit for not much work.
