Looking at it's backside, the Peugeot badge....... Now it is a D9 (like mine) but I have a like triangle shape with the logo inside... they always always always fade with time so maybe this has had it replaced? Just thought it looked cool............

That's the later badge, unfortunately the holes are in different places and it doesn't cover the old ones :(

They only fitted the "lion" badge from 53 plate onwards i think also the dark tinted rear screen.I found a secondhand "lion" badge on ebay when i had my 52 plate Rapier estate and with carefull positioning i managed to stick it on just covering the existing badge holes,it did look a lot better than the old style badge.

That's had a replacement bootlid or a paint at some point. The chrome lion was used on later models & you will find the odd few examples where people have upgraded from the old type badge, but the other tell tale sign is the spacing on the letters where it says Peugeot. Compare them to yours & you'll see why. Many later models had bigger spaces between the letters.

Did you have any issues removing the triangle-ish shape original badge?
Did you have any leaking issues with the holes letting in water?
What adhesive did you use?

Thanks

The old badge can be gently prised off with care and i used double sided 3M body tape to stick it on,as i managed to just cover the old holes in the tailgate the tape sealed them over.

I'm not 100% sure the badge i used is the same as the ones listed in my link as it was just a random used lion badge roughly the same size i bought from ebay.

If memory serves, I think Wasp (an old member) told me that the badge from a 206 fits perfectly over the holes on the tailgate.
