It's all well and good but batteries are inherently rubbish eventually.

Notice the report mentioned a Chevrolet 'Spark' electric car, not sure I'd want to hear that mentioned. Bit like selling an LPG car called the 'Hiss'

I am fearing these fashion cars will become the norm in the past. I hate Minis with a passion but I love the Fiat 500. Toyota IQ is OK but prefer the Aygo. And now there's flipping "Adam" from Opel and now... Zoe? What next? Citroen Steve?

It's still JUST a Renault though
It's bad enough we see these disasters out on the roads let alone on the PEUGEOT forum
I can't believe I have just written that dreaded R word, let alone read and SEEN further pictures of that have made me want to scratch my flippin' eyes out. :x

Seems an acceptable enough wee car, but i prefer the plain saloon styling of the fluence which is also available as an electric car.

On the subject of the electric car here is a good documentary about them:

Its not just their cars, we have 3 renault tractors and the earthing points on all 3 have give trouble, proper comical stuff like wipers turning on with the indicators, the high beam lights on the roof turns off all the other electrics. :cheesy:
Although renault tractors are a lot lot better made than their cars.

It's almost as though no other car manufacturer has any electrical issues at all  (Check any other car forum for details...)

Do you know what, after all the gip people give ''french cars'' I still buy them and still adore them...... I think I am always going to own a Peugeot, I am dedicated to the brand and despite the MINOR hick ups with Peugeot, I rather minor hick ups than big full blown problems with other car brands...

Yeah, Peugeots are fine. I've been driving for 15 years now (oh....) and owned Peugeots for 9 of them. The next car is likely to be the 407 but undecided yet.
