The last time I tried to fit my own exhaust I couldn't get the car high enough in the air and had to keep adjusting it to stop it bodying all the time (might have just been the wrong box but it sure put me off of DIYing exhausts :( )

That is indeed one big hole in my exhaust!
Was just looking over on Talk Ford and it would appear that they all seem to go around the hangers :frown:
That includes the Volvo V70 and Ford S-Max.

A bit annoying but after shelling out £332 on two tyres and wheel alignment yesterday I think I'm just going to go for an OEM mild steel system and give it a few coats of high tempreture paint before fitting.

A Danish bloke on the Talk Ford forums (Where are you from if your a Dane? Daneland?) bought a Volvo V70 R-Desisgn twin exhaust. Cut the chrome tail pipes off and welded on two 90° 3" bends facing down. It was a plug and play swap! :cheesy:

That reminds me, I meant to make a comment about your tyre wear (but got side-tracked :frown: ):

Are you sure that's down to geometry? I thought wear in the middle meant they were running over-inflated :?

I had goodyear efficient grips which now I'm on Conti's I can tell you they are a soft, squigy hatefull tyre! Due to this I had to run them at 37psi instead of 34psi! As a result they were also nackered in 13k

Just been chatting to the guy who fitted the Volvo exhaust on his MK4.
Providing I get a 1.8TDCi centre section then any MK4 Mondeo or Volvo V70 rear exhaust will go straight on!
