Must say I do think it suits the car down to the ground!
Lovely burble 2-3k under load! Turns into a throaty bellow above 3k. Yet under normal conditions you cannot hear a thing!

Dude did you ever contact that guy on fb about doing your bullett hole? i noticed just now he posted pics on a refurb on a mondy alloy that looks pretty damn good i was wondering if He's any use to Sam and his paint problem... The guy does seem to travel but also sprays from his garage.

Nah I touch-upped the bullet hole in the end. The door dent needs to be done but that will need PDR, but nowt's happening for a while 'cos I've got some cashflow problems at the moment . I've just paid my insurance and the tax is due this month (all £30 of it ), plus the first service is now due, so other stuff will have to wait

Couple of guys on the talk ford forum asked me to get a video of the car driving around town, motorway and down some back roads.
45 min drive to college on a Tuesday where I use all sorts of roads so thought I would video the drive and edit the bits I want to show how quiet it is normally and how noisy it is with your foot down.
I made a makeshift camera mount out of some wood and some tiewraps...


And like a dopey twat I forgot to set the camera to Video, so I got this picture
