My mates daughter got married at the weekend and she hired a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder for 4 days,i went round to see him mon afternoon and he took me for a spin in it,well what can I say,the V10 was as smooth as silk and pottered round town like a kitten but when we hit the open road and he gave it it's head,bloody nora,i have never been in anything like it,it growled like an angry tiger and it was like being in the starship enterprise just as you hit warp speed,it was obscene but good fun!

Bloody hell 4 days?

I looked at hiring an Aston Martin V8 Vantage for just a few hours to get to my wedding after some fun, and decided the cost was ridiculous. I got a taxi and spent the money on an oompah band instead with change left over to go towards the (very) high-end PA and lighting setup

We had the best wedding reception... in the world... ever. The highlight was the bratwurst in sauerkraut

I didn't ask what it cost but she's a PA or something for a legal firm and is on circa 80k a year.

I just googled it and theres a company that'll rent you one for 4 days and it'll cost £2250!

Had a blast around Elvington aerodrome in a Murcielago. What a rush! For a surprisingly heavy car, she can bloody shift! Didn't like the gate-type manual gear lever, would have been better with a more normal type of gear lever (or even a flappy-paddle box). Monster of a car - like a bouncer outside a nightclub - you know fine it can beat your head in just by looking at it, and if it were a boxer, it'd be a heavyweight with a massive right hook.

Much more of an animal than the prima ballerina / axe murderer that was the Ferrari 360. If that car was a woman, she'd charm the pants off you, then stick an ice-pick in your face when you least expected it.

Stupid analogies, I know, but there's no real way to explain the impression you get from a supercar.
