I will give you all one guess what need replacing on my 406 not one but 2 of the barsteward twotting cungeing twanging things not that long since I had one replaced
1997 406 2.0 petrol estate lx..D8.............OH dear where does this nut go?

Stop fitting cheap droplinks then 
Fit Peugeot droplinks and they will last!
This always confuses the hell out of me. The first set of drop links lasts 10 years, then people replace them with cheap replacements and moan they only last 12 months!

cheapo droplinks are rubbish ,i fitted a set to mt bmw 320d 6 months ago and it failed the mot on them last week all the rubbers had rotted off, they were only a tenner for the pair of ebay, that will teach me to be a skinflint
