Air Blower thread 2!

I read the other thread here with interest but my problem is a little different...
The blower comes on and works perfectly on all settings (a/c works perfectly) but cuts out for about 60 secs ever so often. I am trying at the moment to work out if there's a common denominator - so far I can't be sure so I'll leave any such speculation until I am.
I have tried wiggling the ignition barrel and that makes no difference. It is almost as if when it's really hot, as it is now in Hungary, the fan has to cool itself down by stopping every so often!
