Bloody hell - what a tit ache

Post by Sonia406 »

I should of listened to you guys with all the grief diagbox / lexia has given you!

I installed diagbox first time around, all was going well until the end screen for the activation and it was running version 5 and wouldn't update the versions, or accept the last code on the last screen (you know the, 02FFFFFF one)

So without being able to go any further forward, I uninstalled it. Rebooted the system and tried to install it again. Had 3 failed attempts at installing it. Updated Java (Yes I know, should of done that first........) and it installed again.
However, I am now not even getting an activation screen, instead it opens, black screen as per normal with an error box in the middle.......

Contacted the chaps who sold it me who offer very little advice, said his brother (who deals with it) is away until Monday. Messaged them yesterday to give an update of how far I have come (or not) and the only response I got was 'Are you sure you're using the diagbox disk as opposed to pp2000'

Very f*cking helpful indeed

I spent 9 hours on it on Sunday and truth be told, didn't touch it yesterday, was that pissed off! :supafrisk:

Any words of wisdom chaps?

i'm no expert on this but i've just installed PP2000 on my laptop went on first time and everything works, as i understood it you only need the P2000 software for a peugeot ,if you uninstall it you will need to completly remove all the files and folders as it may leave some stuff behind even after you the uninstall program.
i used the guide here and followed it to the letter ,i hope it's ok to post another link to another forum, mods please feel free to delete it if it's not ok.

Ok - Done away with installing on my XP laptop. Now on my windows 7 laptop. All installed OK but activation still isn't happening!

I've clicked manual activation,
second screen 'scary01'
third screen (been told to leave top box blank) and on the second box enter 02FFFFFF

It's saying error 11

Any ideas brain boxes?
