Well removing the bulbs is a devious trick, I'd be pretty miffed about that. Which ones are on? Are they accompanied by any warning messages on the MFD?
Which engine have you got? And how many miles are on it? And we like pics
So: let the battle of the bulbs commence!
I whipped the panel out, and found that the bulbs for 'STOP', the brake warning light, the ABS light and the airbag light were all absent. Might explain why the MFD keeps barking on about defective brakes, defective ABS and faulty airbags then. ;) Replaced them all, and sure enough, they were all on.
I've already replaced the speedo sensor which resulted in absolutely no improvement, so I'm pretty sure some sort of diagnostic session will be required to sort it all out before it drives me too bonkers too quickly, haha. I'm quite used to doing work on cars myself, and I like a bit of a project.
It's a 2.0 110 HDi, 133k miles. I'm near Southampton!
Haven't really taken many pics yet, but here's one I do have -
