Good find Doggy, interesting that the last post on that thread gives an explanation for sticking regulator fault and talks about repairing said regulator.Doggy wrote:Don't know if you've seen this. John? http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... =3&t=39288
- implies it could be the lift pump, from your description.
If it is regulated to 5 bar, it should be easy to verify correct pressure.......

Re: New Project
There'll likely be more than that; unfortunately the source of this information is not necessarily accurate - many 406 Coupes, for example, were simply listed as "Peugeot 406". While some 406s were listed as 406 HDi, or 406 HPi, or 406 2.0 or 406 V6, a lot of them will be lumped under the "Peugeot 406" heading.Sonia406 wrote:howmanyleft say there are currently 11 HPi's on the road and only 3 SORN
That said, there won't be that many more than that. The HPi is probably the rarest saloon/estate engine, by a considerable margin.

Re: New Project
If that was for a sat nav MFD that was a real bargain as good ones with clear screens fetch upwards of £50 all day long.

Yes! It was £20 for the sat nav remote control type MFD in perfect working order.
Made me feel better about spending so much on the fuel pressure regulator
The guys in the breaker yard have 2 Executive models, one is a 2.2 HDi Estate.

Bit off-topic, but I don't suppose they have silver interior door handles?

Re: New Project
They are on SE-trim 406 saloons and estates, and on Silver & Black Special Edition Coupes. They were also probably standard on higher-spec late-model 406s. The white dials I just got were from a 1.8 petrol, but it was a 2003 model. No idea what trim level it had.jasper5 wrote:If I get chance tomorrow I'll call in and ask....are these standard?highlander wrote:Bit off-topic, but I don't suppose they have silver interior door handles?

Re: New Project
The silver interior handles are 03, 53 and 04 models - looks like you just missed out Eric...
They are riveted into place, but if you drill them out with a smallish bit you can unclip the links easy ( but be gentle..) , then refix with self tappers.
Any chance you could pocket the little trim piece that goes around the drivers seat memory buttons..?

Re: New Project
Yes, they just flick out with a small screwdriver or similar. I couldn't figure out how to disconnect them, but I guess you could just cut the cables on a scrapper.jasper5 wrote:Are these speakers easy to access/remove?
