German Engineering at it's best
I'd have rather been in an Audi in a crash like that than a Pugeot, (But i'd rather have not been in that crash at all) now don't get me wrong I like my 406 it's a good motor.
But having own'd Ford's / Vauxhalls / Nissans / Rovers ( ) / Toyotas / Austin Rover (bl) / Renaults / Citroens / Pugeots / VW's / BMW's & Audi's, Phew .
If money where no object ( so bloody tight at the mo ) then I would have a BMW or Audi parked on the drive right now.

I have to restrain myself when Dave says he has another fault with his VAG crap...
Tonight though, my powers shone through, told him about a lose connection on the car and low and behold I was right, lol.
Never owned anything but a Peugeot, dedicated isn't the word.

I once got a quote more than the value of a car...

That said, I was 17 at the time, wanting a Pulsar SSS (Almera to you guys and girls) - the quick SR20 powered one! Mazda is cheap to insure...

406 is expensive, even here. Old cars and insurance companies don't mix!

Got my renewal quote from Admiral today - £222. Last year it was £256. Not bad really and I cannot get a cheaper deal from the likes of Gocompare.

Wonder if I should phone them and get it down even more?

Similar to mine - £295 ish last year, £266 this year.

I have concluded this particular gift horse does not warrant dental scrutiny.
