Hi Sonia,
Congrats on the new purchase , I'd do the belt's for ya but I think a 300 mile round trip to get ya belts changed is a bit excessive , anyway isn't jasper down your way. I understand that he's very resonable on cost & we all know how good he is .
If I were you I would do a oil / oil filter / air filter & fuel filter straight away & stick to 6000 miles for the oil & filter & fuel filter to be safe, It's also a very good idea to put a can of engine flush into the old oil for 15 mins or so before you drain it just to help remove any carbon deposit's ect & I would do the belts this year 100k or 120 month's is to long I.M.H.O, more like 6 years or 75k but that's me £125 if you do it yourself / £250-300 at a inde V a engine re-build / replacment I know my choice .

Absolutely, thanks for your advice! Oil definitely looked a bit mucky when we looked at it so will definitely be doing the oil as priority too!
(Anyone know what oil is best for these engines?)
