Well, I am sure it has come up whilst driving too, so I am thinking there is a definite antenna issue - will keep an eye on it.dirtydirtydiesel wrote:Or maybe he wants to go back home? he's realised he's to macho to be tagged with a stupid f*cking knickname thrown a hissy fit thinking he's really a she and wants to go back home for some sanity... or a manicure... see he's confused too.![]()

This is worth knowing because at the pumps I lock the kids in the car, it goes off a lotgrasmere59 wrote:You know the pillar at the front of the car with the alarm speaker-y type wotsit, is that ANYTHING to do with the immoby?
That thing on the pillar is the motion sensor for the alarm,if you want to lock the car without it being activated you press the button on the centre console, the one on the same switch bank as the seat heaters,i do this if I have to lock the car with the dog in it (with the windows down and not in the summer!).I often get drips of water from them if it rains really hard and i'm going round a corner.

Thanks!
rwb! You have shocked me

Alternatively just lock the car using the physical lock (i.e. not the remote locking) and it won't arm the alarm.

Re: Is it too late to regret my HDi purchase?
Thanks Jon.
Dingly dangly bits pulled off (didn't take much
) and the new centre section and back box are on there.
Exhaust specialist place in Swindon yesterday gave me two back box clamps
So I had to dash across to the extortionate parts shop and get another clamp.
I took it back to the garage Grasmere recommended did the MOT.
Flexi cat should be here on Monday, Bought and paid for it last night. Asked today when it should be with me and the answer was Monday. They have not asked for a vehicle registration.

OH and have done the door seal and clips. Removed all clips, one tug fell off a couple of the clips, but all clips were removed well.
New clips went in nicely, pushed in far enough until you heard a click (will add pictures to his thread in a minute).
Also added the same sticker as Miss Pug gained at FCS.

Good stuff, sounds like you're pretty much there. Are you going to de-FAP at the same time as fitting the new cat/flexi section?
If so, have you got a Galletto and a de-FAPed engine map at the ready?

Re: Is it too late to regret my HDi purchase?
That's the plan Jon.... Will hopefully be late next week I manage to fit the flexi (if I am even able to do that) and the plan is to speak to a lovely chap on here who is hopefully willing to do that for me... I don't wish to get involved with that, PP is enough of a headache, I want to draft in a PROjonsowman wrote:Good stuff, sounds like you're pretty much there. I am definitely in a better mood today with Pugster...
