Present ideas?

Post by Bailes1992 »

Please excuse the rather selfish thread.

My birthday and christmas both come up in December and I can safely say there is absolutley nothing I want/need.

My Girlfriend and my parents are both nagging me but I'm clueless.

I have a Laptop (Needs some TLC but there isn't much wrong with it), I have a Tablet (Blackberry playbook) which I rarely use and my phone is less than a 12 month old (iPhone 4S).

The Girlfriend refuses to buy anything for my car because I'm "obsessed" and "she's not feeding my obsession" and there isn't anything it particularly needs. Last year I asked my parents to pay for my multiple timing belt replacement!

I don't want to ask for something that I'm not going to use either.

So something practical and Preferably technology/car based.

Me and the other half both have £250 limits and I'd say £400 for my parents.

Any ideas what I could get?

Bailes.

That's something I just actually mentioned to Becca! Might be worth having, even if it's just to put videos up of the idiots I ecounter during my 180mile round trip commute.

Happy 60th for next month! Fairplay to you for still working on cars too! I hope I'm off the tools and in an office by the time I'm 30, let alone 60!

Not a bad idea in the slightest! My Father has mentioned booking one of these for the both of us. Only thing is the driving time is usually 15m unless you spend £400+! :frown:

Only thing that puts me off is in my game everyone you meet over 40 has nackered knees, or bad hips or tennis elbow etc etc. None of which I particularly want! :?

That's funny, I have completely the opposite problem :(

Ooh, working on cars, sorry  I hope that's out of choice, rather than necessity.

Limits? Credit card? :? You want suggestions of what your girlfriend could do and you're how old? Why don't you ask them to club together and buy you a steering rack? :P

For my last birthday I got..... a doughnut. I was quite pleased as they're forbidden for the other 364 days of the year.

I've been looking for B41 LES for ages to no avail as I'd pay good money for it!

The only other numberplate that even represents anything near my name is S444 BAY. There is no suffix style SJB numberplates left!
