You'll think I'm obsessed with people's fog lights for sure.
What - the - f*ck is going on with these new cars which light either of the front fog lights depending on which direction the driver is turning? I find it quite distracting. I can sort of understand it might be useful for the driver occasionally but really?
To me it's like: Oh here's another driver with fogs on, oh wait, one's broken, oh he's just turning there
I've seen these lights come on at roundabouts too which is a bit annoying.
Thoughts?

Yup
It just looks odd, yes I'm sure it might be handy to light up the ditches on a narrow country road, but do we really need them around town? Saying that, my car's got the headlights that turn and that's just a gimmick too, they only turn if the lights are actually "switched" on with the knob, and since it's got DRLs and automatic everything I never switch the lights on, so they're never activated, can't say I've ever missed them

[quote="Welly"]Static Cornering Lights is what they're called apparently, and only come on below certain speeds/steering angles (more to go wrong there then).
VW's are favorite for spotting them.

Vw owners are normaly to busy looking at whats on the pavement =(Qwarr! is that a skirt or abelt?) ...and they is like BMW owners too they don't use indicators.
