People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and get up on the moral high ground that's all I have to say.
I'm not even going to bother wasting my time or energy in replying to it
What the fooks that all about ??
All I will say is:

My life

My cars

MY DECISION.
Yes very true then why do you keep asking other members opinion ?
I don't hold a gun to your head and make you read my posts and at least I was brought up with enough manors.
Don't have anything nice to say then you don't say it.
The whole idea of this forum is for people to ask for help regarding their car or pass on
tips that may help someone else but also to have a little banter on life in general ,
if you post something and dont like the reply dont blame the person who wrote it they are
only using the forum as it was intended .
Someone has a lot of growing up to do, end of.
Yes You !!

That is a polite reply to a post I and probably a lot of other members found quite offensive ...
.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron

@ dd

did idirectly name you in that comment,?

Re:Right now for me,
1st, CJ this is not a slaging match.
2nd, I'm sorry Sonia but I have to agree with Bailes & puggy & I take offence at lozz's comment...
We are not all loaded on here, in fact I would say most of us are scraping by :frown:

Iapologise if idid, but icarnt rember doing so, :?

alls iwas getting at is, somepeople must have deep pockets because everything was going round and round in circles, and at the end of the day shes not got the funds to fix it, and that was getting ignored,

And tbh, wether someone is on benefits or not that shouidnt be no buisness of ours, it is irrelivant,

Well i have to say this and if i offend then sod it, you speak manors but where were they last night on facebook while you slagged Sam off in public?. I just spent a week away with my Nan.. Who handed down the manors in our family and if i spoke about someone like you did last night she'd have disowned me and so would my mother.

I told you last night I don't know Sam in a personal way (shut it puggy  ) but what was done should have been kept to here and not thrown all over facebook he didn't deserve it... And no i ain't ran and told him about it but I'm sure one or two on here saw your rant... With reguards to the kids side of it (which i also pointed out last night) i remember Sam mention you doing work yourself but could be tricky with you being preggers.

I must admit like ddd I've saw some of your posts in the past about pimping your car and thought for f*ck sake my wife works damn hard to pay our mortgage/bills feed clothe and keep our kids warm the twats have taken all my benifits and left us up sh*t creek to give to the impending wombles about to flock the country and we cant afford shite... But it's your benifits it's up to you how you spend them.

Not a rant or a slagging off just an observation and my ten bobs worth.

Nah Lozz,
I've got thicker skin than that bud, I just get realy pissed at people thinking people are loaded just becauase they have a nice house / car ect: not knowing how hard they work or how careful they are with what money they have, ie: not watching go up in smoke (hanging out the end of there mouth!).

And as for growing up Sonia, if that's aimed at Balies then you need to take a long hard look in the mirror. I don't know him personaly but if you read his post's you will find out he's a hard working young man, who drives on average over a thousand miles a week in order to work, so he can save & get a mortgage, to buy a house.
Sorry but that sounds very grown up & responsable to me!

Oh & lozz, I don't get involved in the great benifit debate normally, but I take exception at Sonia, Single mum of five with another on the way & she's pissing about with two old clonkers with dreams of leather / alloys & big bhp for chip's when she's not even got her licence!!!!!!

Ithink some of us have over-reacted here .
sometimes what people type out on the old keyboard can be missread or what ever, (apologies there,)

end of day what imeant was people was overlooking at what she was getting at, (no money in the pot) to fix car,
and i was just trying to get that across sadly it went wrong,

what iwas trying to say is DD is that somepeople on here might have more funds than others and will think oh its a cheap fix
it might be in there position, but too some of us that are scraping by its not, so differnce in opinions,

we shouidnt judge someone unless weve walked amile in there shoes,.

Reguarding the cheap fix Lozz... You ordered parts for her yourself, Jasper offered to donate labour and the clutch has been pointed out to her a dozen times that if she went back to the 136bhp map (Freely) it might give her a good few months of driving.

At the end of the day people are offering opinions in reply to her questions which is what the forum is all about... Isn't it?

I've tried to stay out of this in public, but this is pissing me off.

Glad you realise that, now STFU and:

1. Stop attacking some of our most respected members
2. Stop fishing for freebies
3. Get a driving license. Jesus, how can you talk about glass houses when you're driving around without one? Do you drive your kids?
I'm not even going to bother wasting my time or energy in replying to it.
So why the rest of the post? Wasn't the glass house comment all you were going to say?
My life

My cars

MY DECISION.
Forum member's donations - parts, time, etc you've managed to scrounge for free
Other people's lives you risk when you go driving when you can't drive safely for the half hour it takes to pass a test.
Other people's livelihoods you risk when you go driving uninsured

Someone has a lot of growing up to do, end of.
I can see why there are a lot of well respected members hating this forum, leaving and or not posting much.
Yeah, I'm replying to that reason.

I'm locking this thread. Consider this a warning. "End of".
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
