Mileage doesn't make THAT much of a difference. My 406 was renewed at about 246 squid after haggling and the 407 at 306...after haggling.

2009 - 2013: 2002 Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 110bhp Executive Saloon
2013 - 2021: 2007 Peugeot 407 2.2 HDI 170bhp Executive Saloon (mapped to 213bhp :twisted:)
2021 - ????: 2016 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 180bhp Titanium

Mileage does make abig differnce,
The more miles you do the more risk,

When we take out insurance Quote we go on there score board, :(

I only insure for 5,000 miles a year. If I go over this, I agreed to pay £5 per extra 1,000. I don't think that's too bad. According to my MOT history I only do about 4,000 most years.

Bailes, when I was 21 back in 1993 I paid over £1200 to insure a Astra GTE 16v T/P/F&T, so you see some things get better with age it's just I can't think of any others :roll: ,

weird thats what istarted off with Astra GTE. nippy wasnt they, :cheesy:
ithink my insurance was around 1500 notes, thatd be about 3k in todays money,

idowngraded to MG Maestro, not long after insurance wasnt much cheaper on that,
and outcame the datsuns much cheaper with added free rust,

:lol: , Lozz I remember spending six months trying to work out how tthe f**k I could aford the £4500 for a Courtny 300/250 turbo conversion :mrgreen: just to screw my mates cossie.
Then I traded it for a cavalier 4x4 turbo & Regal Autosport took it to 350bhp :twisted: & I spent two happy years racing every cossie / escort cossie / Renault 21 turbo ect that I could find in the east/west Mids, Oh & outruning the cop's......... Ah! back in the good old day's before speed cameras 8).
Anyone out there remember sat night/sun morn on Birminghams ring road :supafrisk:

I paid £2000 to insure my HDi90 with a stage one remap!
That's why I got rid :cry:
