Did they simply hit you with an axe..?
That looks like quite a neat scar to be honest - hard to tell by the bruising / swelling but looks good all the same. Again - take it easy on the recovery as it is surprising how much you use your tummy muscles for every day jobs.

I remember how messed up my stomach muscles were after I had my (gangrenous) appendix out, that must be 100 times worse. Please do take it ever so easy!!

@steve i hadnt planned on weekly photo's it was only when CJ asked for an update photo. If anyone wants them i suppose a couple wouldnt hurt but i'm more than happy NOT to post them as well
