I'll take a look and thanks. The firstline ones have also been mentioned by jasper, so it's 50/50 :-)

I'm pretty certain they're these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111214859996
It was this seller, and they were Delphi ones.

And the price has gone down since. I paid £25 for two.
rwb,

Defo these ones from this seller?

Firstline have a single pleat with no hex on bolt and I've had no response back from the eBay seller either so just double checking.

Cheers.

I used Lemforder ones from euro car parts, pricey but you get what you pay for  ,
But next time I change them if I have to, I'm going to use Mayle H/D ones with a four year life  , £39.99 inc p&p for a pair sounds fair to me.
If you type in droplinks into the search box of this section & look for farmerpugs post (a plethora of noises) he's put a link to them on ebay 8) .
By the way don't forget to check your anti-roll bar rubbbers as these are know to perish :(

 , When I did mine I did the drop links at the same time because both were knackered & you have to remove the drop links to do the rubber bushes  .
Also you need to measure the dia of your anti-roll bar to make sure you get the right size rubbers ( 3 different sizes I.I.R.C ), cost not much, cheeper than drop links

Thanks for this. Just out of interest since everyone in here knows a lot more than me. I recently had a broken coil spring on the front and so had both replaced at my local garage. Is it possible when he was replacing both coils that something else could have been upset to cause this slight knocking I'm getting over rough road surfaces?

The knocking / tapping is ever so slight and to my trained ear since it's my car, very audible to me. Yet someone else may not hear what I'm hearing.

Have to say, bud, I find your advertising really annoying. It's got absolutely
nothing to do with 406's, and for me it gets in the way of anything interesting you say.

I'm pretty certain that the adline can be disabled. How about it?

Not sure what you mean...the tapatalk? If so will try find the setting.

It's just an app I'm having to use, nothing affiliated to me.

Ah, so it's not just me those tapeworktalk adverts annoy. I've come across forums where almost every post has them, I can't imagine how people can read them without the adverts driving them bonkers. What if everything we used to go online wanted to add something to our posts, we'd never get anywhere! :frown:

All I see after posting in one line of text. Is there a banner add then?
