as you know i have a 110 auto and oly get 30mpg round town i need to get more or it may have to go

According to my calculations, £90 is about 14 gallons.
500 miles on 14 gallons is 35mpg.

300 of that was on motorway

200 urban miles at 30mpg is 6.7 gallons
meaning 300 motorway miles on (14-6.7=7.3) gallons, giving 41mpg

The urban:motorway consumption ratio's about right suggesting the trip computer's not far off, but it's a bit on the low side if it's not being driven hard
