Diagbox

Post by FarmerPug »

I broke my windows XP netbook and have no way at the moment to read fault codes, i don't really want to get another laptop because my mac has windows 7 on it. Therefore i would need to put diagbox onto it to read fault codes, i still have the old PP2000 actia lead, is a CD off ebay with diagbox compatible with the lead or do i need a new lead?

There was a download on french car forums but no real instructions to speak of, it was in this link for version 7.15 is that a good version?

I got the lend of an old XP laptop just to read some codes on a 307 it did the job but the old laptop was terribly slow, it was so old that it had a wifi card sticking out of the side.

My version was supposed to be 7.15 but kept crashing when updates from 7.02 were applied.

Version 7.02 is very stable.

Ive got 7.02 installed after downloading it, its installed ok, however when i go to the 406 section and see the DAM number and type in my build code the computer does nothing, does my pp2000 lead need to be reflashed to work with diagbox?

I've never typed in a build code using diagbox!
Do you mean the 5 digit number?

I tend to use pp2000 not diagbox anyway, except for the 407 which works best in diagbox.

It simply asks for a DAM number when i click on peugoet planet 2000, what is the 5 digit number?

I thought diagbox was the only way to get pp2000 to work on windows 7.

The 5 digit number on the sticker by the door.

Diagbox doesn't work on my windows 7 laptop.

I use an old Sony Vaio running XP.

The number I use to do diagnostics on my 2002 estate has 5 digits.
