for sale. 406 estate 110 hdi

Post by dawsondj01 »

Would anyone be interested in saving my 406?
Its a 2000 w reg.
198 000
Alloys
New discs and pads all round 2 month ago
Taxed untill end of november
Mot untill july next year.
good tyres
clean interior.
Does have little buts need doing here and there.

Was running and driving great untill tuesday morning when it decided it wouldnt start.
honestly dont know whats wrong with it. I personally think its either fuel pump solenoid £80 from ebay or thw bsi £100 on ebay with ecu etc.
I dont want to spend anymore money on this car but it is too good to scrap.
could be an easy fix for someone ive just lost all interest in the car. Can send pics to anyone seriously interested.
Located in bradford. Close to m62 motorway.

£250 and ill leave the tax on.

You could try thumping the fuel tank underneath with your hand or a rubber mallet, it might just force the lift pump to burst into life (that's what it sounds like the problem might be) at least you can sell it as a runner if it is that. BTW you'll buy yourself a week or two before the pump really craps out for good (has T-Shirt).
