B/P 5 Disk cd changer Activation/coded..?

Anyone know if..

the peugeot B/p 5 disk cd changers..need coding or activating to work?
just bought one with the leads off ebay..
but just wondering if it'd be plug and play or wouid ineed pp2000?

its the same unit..ibelieve thats fitted in the 307/407 etc.
it lives in the dashboard not the boot,

mine (207) didnt have one originaly.. ideas?

No harm just trying it to see - my daughter managed to just plug one into a late model 206SW and it worked without any setup.

wrong lead..even tho its come out of a 207.

Part number for a Cd changer lead for a CD4 H/U

but it wont fit,. strange realy as it came out of a 06 reg and mines a 56

I guess Im not going to be much use to you again The crappy diagrams in Service Box don't give anything like enough detail. The only CD changer lead it's coming up with is 657144 There's an RPO but it's the same lead before and after.

Using the CD player part numbers in the search they bring up that 657144 and 6574Z4 - MULTIFUNC VIDEO SCREEN CABLE there are no other leads in the diagram and it doesn't give any indication of where to shove it

That's a shame One of the part numbers actually brought up a French 207 site talking about this very subject, however it was from 2011 and all the pictures were gone

Thats got me thinking, i might just try and make a loom up.
ive got the pin/out diagram for the H/u just got to work out the pin-outs for the changer.

iwill see if ican work it out at the weekend.,
