Well, maybe a redesigned one, not much thought went into it anyway.DaiRees wrote:Errm, not a face lifted Minor?
The story goes something like it was drawn on a serviette one afternoon in a pub.
They're getting more popular with the classic brigade these days but having driven Marinas (& Itals) in my youth I really can't think of anything to get nostalgic about.

Thought process went : What's those old cars Steve occasionally diverts threads onto... [search forum] [google image search] look similar [google search] share parts (http://r.ebay.com/ooVrKa)
Was it not a trick question?
EDIT: Apologies for next to bugger all knowledge of cars from before I was born

Re: Mini Countryman
You could've said Plymouth Cricket.
AM I supposed to never mention them gain or something? Fat chance
Anyway, just for that:

Note Sunbeam badge, instead of Hillman.

Cor, that roof rack's something else, aint it?

Look how straight that bumper is! I've hardly ever seen one that straight because the high boot means they were always getting reversed into the scenery. I just spotted the tow bar, all is explained...

Re: Mini Countryman
"Shirt lifter"? Not heard that one before, it was either "all agro" or "vroom for improvement" where I came from. I remember my bro had an estate, it was all square steering wheel and contact glue all over the head lining. I remember when my sis-in-law managed to wrap it around a skip, my bro beat it out roughly with a hammer and sprayed it with rattle cans. It wasn't that old either.
