Would this oil be suitable for a daily driven 2.0 HDi? I've noticed the spec says ACEA A3/B3, whereas I think I need ACEA A3/B4? Heard great things about this oil so I'd love to use it, my car gets driven fairly hard so I'd like the extra protection.

Looking at my data, a 406 2.0HDi needs a A3/B3 oil, so it's fine. Apart from that, plenty of people have used it in HDis with no issues.

Hectic today, glad Phil helped. Oil specs are useful to know about, but certain oils like the Pro S exceed specs in certain areas, then don't meet them in other areas as they are aimed at performance use rather than emissions/longlife servicing etc.
