vacuum pipe has arrived but ordered 6mm internal dia !!! which is the wrong !!!
had another look and it looks more like 4mm internal dia ???
can you steer in the right direction .

I bought 3mm internal diameter, it's a bit tight but won't fall off...!
4mm is okay, it's a nice fit, but I chose the 3mm instead.

The problem with the turbo is still intermittent !!
replaced only the short vac pipe from throttle body.
I connected the vac gauge on supply to solenoid and got 700 mm-Hg
When I connected the vac gauge after solenoid I got 475 and when I gave it some throttle it reduced to about 250 but seemed very jittery , not consistent ! Do you recon the solenoid is nakt/Us
Seems logical ??

You can swap the solenoids over, the ones on the bulkhead are the same - for testing purposes.
What is the vacuum reading before the solenoid, ie the pipe going in, on all the bulkhead solenoids?
I'm sure -700 is about right.

apologies for diving in and not reading ur previous posts !
I have changed the egr/turbo solenoids over and when I give it some throttle the vac pressure reduces now much better, fingers crossed that was the problem !!
I have given it a run and it seems ok , will be running it to work all week

The vac pressure is supposed to reduce - it's all good.
If the vacuum isn't strong enough on the way into the solenoid, it greatly affects the output to the turbo/EGR etc.
Enjoy the drive to work, make use of the quieter roads...

Do you get some replacement vac pipe?
If so, you can change the over one at a time ( easier to keep track otherwise the layout is very confusing.)
Start with the one from the turbo solenoid, to the turbo, with a cold engine as it's a bit hot down the back with a warm engine, then work back.
Once the turbo pipes are done, go for a spin and see if it has helped - it may or may not work but new vacuum pipes are always a good thing...
If you have no joy, change the EGR and swirl vacuum pipes next - these can also deteriorate and affect the turbo vacuum pressure.
Take it steady, don't rush it, and keep the rigid pipe to the servo connected at all times when driving..

yes got some vac pipe , but only replaced short bit nr pump.
had to jack the car up because I dropped the old solenoid down the back of the engine
while it was jacked up I tried to see where the vac pipe was connect to the turbo to no avail will have to get a diagram to give details

had another go at locating turbo vac pipe, jacked the car up as far as I could , had a look at a few diagrams , can get one hand in to locate turbo end but don't feel I would have the hand strength to feed the new pipe back on ( must be my 64yrs age).
will see how it goes with the new solenoid , if still problematic then the man at the garage is going to give me a hand,

It's not easy, I can reach down from the top and do it but I have arms like Mr Tickle.....
It's one of those things that when it's done once, it's a doddle next time, but there is still the tricky first time to overcome ....
If it's easier for you, just drop a long length of pipe down from the top ( tie or peg the end to something first.) then you don't have to worry about letting it slip when trying to put the tube on, you can use a lubricant if you like, shouldn't do any harm.

fault codes:
0107 intermittent fault :air flowmeter signal, airflow too low coherence
0000 intermittent fault, air flowmeter signal, open circuit or short to earth, flow too low.
3501 intermittent fault, turbo pressure signal short circuited to positive or open circuit or value too high
fault codes:

The two top ones make me think you have unplugged the MAF at some point, or it is currently unplugged ; but as an intermittent fault it may have been resolved if the MAF has been plugged back in.
The bottom one is the over boost, so your turbo hasn't released the extra pressure quickly enough, for one reason or another....

the car is still loosing the turbo now and again
the maf has not been disconnected
I have booked the car in to get looked at on 10/7 ,
cannot get my crooked fingers in to replace the vac on the turbo so he can do that for me

had car in garage ,after checking round he blew out the air pressure sensor on the top of the intercooler, its cleared the engine management light. its most likely being caused by the intercooler being blowing for a while and blocked the sensor a bit?
will run it to work this week and see how it goes?
ordered a new sensor as they are only £20
