Update:
found some rustoleum in back of the garage for the backplates, looks good
done one side, but need to fix the old backplate pin problem a s bottom one too sloose ,might pop out and make a mess !!
seen threads on here to use bolts. I could do this but just a thought, has anybody tried to to reverse the pin and fit an old type concave locking washer that they used in the old days !!
Basic Question: need to get brake pipe out of the caliper as I need to renew all the seals !

, the brake pipe is just twisting when I turn the nut , Is there a trick to getting the brakepipe to free from the nut you turn ( don't no what you call it ? lol) I do not have a blow torch . I have used WD40 , tapped the pipe inwards !!
If I cannot release it I will have let the garage do it as I do not have brake pipe making flareing tool
Story about calipers needing new seals !!!!
Fitted new calipers about 2yrs ago from germany ( should have known they were to good to be true, brand new in the box £80 for the pair )
when doing this job I noticed the seals were all totally nakt, all split and cracked !
