Re: BMW drivers, there is hope at last.
I don't need one, in fact I have the opposite problem - I indicate too much.
Sometimes do it negotiating a sharp bend, don't know why. I've always done it.
Just noticed myself indicating right when approaching a mini-roundabout the size of a football, then indicating left for the appropriate exit, (in a BMW).
Go figure.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Is there such a thing as indicating too much? I suspect not, unless it confuses other road users. Lack of indication is endemic here, nobody bothers or worse they do it wrong especially on roundabouts. I followed a tractor/trailer combo to the vet's yesterday, onto the small roundabout which it occupied almost completely, all the way around with no hint of an indicator. Sadly I find myself doing the same thing, or just not bothering when I don't think anyone else is around
I'd have a bimmer, it's the only German car I'd contemplate (that isn't air cooled...), sadly because of my back that means an X3 or5 and I occasionally stray into the second hand listings for them. And when I've stopped laughing...

Here people say that BMW's are so expensive, that indicator lights are sold as an add-on option.
Obviously, not all buyers have pockets deep enough to purchase that option...
